Hi! I'm Misty De Méo. I'm an archivist and programmer (in no particular order!). I'm also a blogger, amateur game historian... and much more!
I'm probably best known for my work on the Homebrew package manager, and its PowerPC Mac-focused fork Tigerbrew. Professionally, I currently work for Webrecorder on its open source web archiving suite; past experience includes the Internet Archive, GitHub, Axo Developer Co, and Artefactual Systems. My specialties include digital preservation, web archiving, and developer tooling.
You can find my own code over at GitHub and Codeberg. I'm the current maintainer of cargo-dist, which I adopted after Axo closed, and I also contribute to projects like ScummVM.
You can find my writing about technical topics and archives over at my personal blog, and writing about multimedia art and CD-ROM games at my multimedia blog, CD-ROM Journal.
I used to write games, which I really need to do more often! I'm most proud of Space Adventure Laika.
What's up with the web design? A little bit of a rambling explanation here.
